Embassy stationery box

Here I explore some of the patterns and the marks they suggest to me, as found on the stationery box. I chose to focus on the dots and parallel lines that I observed on the top of the box and created them on a A2 sheet of cartridge paper with black ink, using a foam zigzag-ended tool:
